These heaters are made out of Stainless Steel, and are designed to be installed into the top of your tank through a hole that you cut. Hot coolant from the engine is piped through the outer two tubes and then back to the engine, thereby heating the column and the SVO/WVO that enters the center tube on the way to the engine.

These heaters are very effective at heating tanks in moderate to cold climates when installed vertically. For more extreme winter conditions mounting horizontally may be necessary.

Included is a mounting kit with all necessary hardware and gasket, and brass fittings.

We highly recommend that you install a heat exchanger before this filter, as it is not internally heated. In addition, a stick-on pad heater such as the Arctic Fox 12v with thermal switch assures optimal performance.

The sight glass is a window into your fuel line; it will enable you to see what fuel you are burning and when. If you have an air leak or a lack of supply (for example cold oil or a restricted line) then it will show you. Only install in return common line.

Valve, economy
12v solenoid valve (24v also available) for fuel switching. This valve has high fuel flow due to its large orifice size, and an indicator light to show when it is operational. The valve has viton seals, and will default to diesel in the off position.
